Kicking off the 2022 baseball season, the Detroit Tigers, in partnership with Pepsi, recently hosted the first Detroit Roots Neighborhood Tour of 2022 in the Denby area of the city to unite two areas of passion – the spirit of Detroit community and the Olde English D.  

To foster a meaningful connection with Detroit neighborhood residents, members of the Detroit Tigers organization visited with a mobile block party, featuring giveaway items, food trucks, baseball equipment, a drum line and more. Following a caravan through the streets, residents were invited to gather for activities and giveaways in the Skinner Playfield.
