The leaves are changing color, the smell of pumpkin spice is in the air, and Fall Fest is returning to Columbia Street. The fest – which transforms the pedestrian-only Columbia Street into a picturesque urban pumpkin patch experience – is free, open to the public, and presented by Michigan First Credit Union.

The second annual Columbia Street Fall Fest in The District Detroit begins Saturday, October 21 and continues through Sunday, November 26, featuring whimsical photo opportunities, vibrant fall-themed décor, and delicious food and beverage specials. And, before Detroit Lions home games, Fall Fest fun is combined with the ongoing Columbia Street tailgate activities. 

During Fall Fest, stop and enjoy the restaurants on Columbia Street offering fall décor and special themed menu items, including:

JoJo’s ShakeBAR: Get into the spirit of autumn with JoJo’s ShakeBAR’s pumpkin patch, which offers opportunities for seasonal selfies, pumpkin painting, mixology classes and seasonal menu items like apple pie shots, iced pumpkin spiked latte, huge hot chocolates and more. The experience runs daily through November 3. 88 W. Columbia Street, Detroit.

Good Cakes and Bakes: Satisfy your sweet tooth with a warm sweet potato pound spice cake or their famous carrot cake along with other fall specials.  Pair a pastry with a hot cup of coffee or cider as you take in all Columbia Street has to offer. Union Assembly: Guests can also enjoy seasonal street-side patio dining on Columbia Street just steps from the iconic Fox Theatre overlooking Columbia Street and all the festivities.  Stop by for fall and Lion’s game drink and food specials.
