  • More Than 110 Shows Taking Place This Summer at Pine Knob Music Theatre, Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre, Meadow Brook Amphitheatre, Comerica Park, Little Caesars Arena & the Fox Theatre

313 Presents – Detroit’s premier live entertainment company – is set to deliver a jam-packed summer schedule of live entertainment to its world-class venues – Pine Knob Music Theatre presented by Proud Partners United Wholesale Mortgage, Trinity Health and Ally; Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre, Meadow Brook Amphitheatre Presented by Proud Partner Oakland University Credit Union, Comerica Park, Little Caesars Arena and the Fox Theatre featuring Proud Partner Comerica Bank.

This summer’s amphitheatre and ballpark schedule features some of this year’s biggest acts on tour. Sessanta featuring Puscifer, A Perfect Circle and Primus opened the doors to Pine Knob Music Theatre earlier this month, but the summer concert season kicks into high gear beginning next week with Neil Young + Crazy Horse on May 22. Multi-platinum rock band NEEDTOBREATHE opens Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre with “The Caves World Tour” on May 29, and groundbreaking country artist Orville Peck brings his “Stampede” headlining tour with special guests Durand Jones and Debbii Dawson to open Meadow Brook Amphitheatre on June 4.

From Hozier (May 31) to two nights of the 99.5 WYCD Hoedown featuring Luke Bryan (June 28 & 29) to Tyler Childers (June 11) at Pine Knob Music Theatre, to Tate McRae (July 28) and Conan Gray (September 21) at Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre, to Roger Daltrey (June 25) and Vampire Weekend (September 23) at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre, to Journey and Def Leppard (July 18) and Green Day (September 4) at Comerica Park, there is something in store for everyone to enjoy this summer. 313 PRESENTS PARTNERS WITH MESSINA TOURING GROUP AND IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY
313 Presents has partnered with Messina Touring Group and Iowa State University to bring country music icon George Strait and eight-time Grammy winner Chris Stapleton with special guests Little Big Town to Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa on Saturday, May 25. This will mark the first show at Jack Trice Stadium since Strait last played the venue on April 24, 1999 with Tim McGraw, The Chicks and Kenny Chesney. 

COLLEGE FOR CREATIVE STUDIES SECOND ANNUAL POSTER COMPETITION
313 Presents and College for Creative Studies (CCS), a well-respected art and design college in Midtown Detroit, announce Kat Sutherland as the winner of the second annual poster design competition. 

313 Presents sponsors a class each fall to highlight the talents of the top illustration and design students in the country. This year’s contest included numerous participants from the CCS Illustration class led by instructor Don Kilpatrick. Hosted throughout the 2023 Fall semester, 313 Presents worked with students to provide real-world experience with an actual “client” to create a professional look and feel for their finished creation that was to represent Pine Knob’s beloved summertime tradition and serve as its official limited run 2024 commemorative poster. Students with the top three deigns received scholarship awards from 313 Presents.

The winning poster will serve as the venue’s Proud Partner promotional giveaway at select events. Concertgoers who attend Hootie & The Blowfish on June 6 will receive Pine Knob’s latest-edition keepsake poster.

THE FED EXPANDS PRESENCE AT PINE KNOB MUSIC THEATRE
The Fed expands its presence at Pine Knob by moving from The Tree House by Lume to opening a restaurant-like club space (formerly The Coppercraft Club) inside the Ally East Village. The Fed at Pine Knob will be open to all patrons as the destination for pre-show drinks and food and throughout the duration of the show. Concertgoers can get their tickets scanned and enter at The Fed at Pine Knob gate, enjoy table seating and a menu entitled Taste of the United States, featuring:

  • The Florida “Cubano” – Slow Roasted Pork, Spicy Mustard, Swiss Cheese, Dill Pickle, Side of House Chips
  • The Chicago “Hot Beef” – Peppercorn London Broil, Spicy Giardiniera, Au Jus, Side of House Chips
  • Los Angeles “Drunk Chip” – Kennebec Potato Chips, Carnitas, Pico, Cny, Pickled Onion
  • The Hometown “Chicken Sandwich” – Pulled Chicken, Cream Cheese, Cheddar, Scallions, Side of House Chips
  • Homemade Ice Cream – Chocolate dipped waffle cone
  • House Made Kennebec Chips -Kennebec Chips, “BBQ” Aioli
  • An assortment of beer choices and specialty cocktails are also available. 

The Fed has been a staple in Clarkston since 2017 with polished setting for modern American, globally inspired fare & cocktails in a restored bank building.

UPGRADES TO MOTORCITY CASINO & HOTEL VIP CLUB AND NEW STAGE LEFT LOUNGE AT MICHIGAN LOTTERY AMPHITHEATRE
Previously, the MotorCity Casino & Hotel VIP Club at Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre would open to the public two hours after doors opened. This year, members will receive full VIP experience and have exclusivity to the space with the addition of a new private, members-only entrance direct from the VIP Parking lot, complimentary dinner with a la carte menu ordering process, private bar, and private restrooms within the Club. Members have access to MotorCity Casino & Hotel VIP Club 30 minutes prior to public door time until 30 minutes after the show concludes.

The public space has been revamped and will now be known as the Stage Left Lounge Presented by Bell’s and Founders. The public will have access to the newly refurbished space they have had years past, this time from the time doors open through duration of the show. General ticket holders will be able to access the area from the pathway located near the pavilion and lawn seating in the East Plaza.

313 Presents continues to enhance the concert going experience with the addition of SMS Texts, Premier Parking at all three amphitheatres and Express Lane at Pine Knob Music Theatre. While the grounds have been beautified to improve ingress and egress, guests are encouraged to plan their trip accordingly, carpool, subscribe to SMS Texts and connect with 313 Presents on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and TikTok to receive the latest weather and traffic/construction updates. PREMIER PARKING
Premier Parking makes its debut at all three amphitheatres this summer and will allow guests to park within close walking distance to the venue entrance regardless of arrival time and an expedited exit after the show. A mobile-only ticket to Premier Parking is available for purchase as an add-on prior to check out on Ticketmaster or by visiting the Directions & Parking page at 313Presents.com. A limited number of spaces are available. Parking opens three hours prior to show time unless otherwise noted.

EXPRESS LANE AT PINE KNOB MUSIC THEATRE
A Pine Knob Express Lane Pass allows concert goers to skip the general entrance lines, allowing for faster entry into the venue. The Pine Knob Express Lane passes are available for select shows by simply adding them to purchaser’s cart before checkout on Ticketmaster. Passes are also available at the Ally Financial East Box Office. Enter at the Ally East Gate near the Ally East Box Office. Please note, the Pine Knob Express Lane Pass is not a concert ticket and does not admit guests into the concert and does not provide early entry or any other amenities. Normal security protocols apply.

LEVY PROVIDES NEW FOOD & BEVERAGE OFFERINGS
Levy continues to enhance the food and guest experience at Pine Knob Music Theatre, Meadow Brook Amphitheatre and Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre. 

The Trinity Health Ivy Lounge at Pine Knob Music Theatre is available exclusively to Pine Knob Season Ticket Members before, during and after each show. The site of select post-show after-parties and entertainment, the Trinity Health Ivy Lounge features specialty cocktails and a select wine list. Various menus are available from small plates to an a la carte menu featuring:

Pine Knob Pilsner Souvenir Cup: When adults 21+ purchase frozen cocktails at Pine Knob this summer, they will be served in a 20-ounce Pine Knob Pilsner Souvenir cup. Island Punch with Rum, Margarita, Lemonade with Cherry Whiskey, Strawberry Daiquiri, Whiskey Lemonade and Hurricane options will be available at cocktail stands located stage left and right on the concourse.

Guests will continue to enjoy these popular spots located throughout the grounds at Pine Knob Music Theatre to relax and relish in a wide array of dining options:

Detroit Grille House: A warm inviting Grille Pub with an emphasis on Gourmet Pub Fare, Detroit Grille House will be featured at Pine Knob Music Theatre and Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre, and will feature a monthly specialty burger at Pine Knob, opening this year with a burger topped with pepperjack cheese, bacon, candied jalapenos, and hot honey.

The Tree House by Lume, an expansive deck located inside Pine Knob’s UWM West Entrance, is an open-air beer garden providing ample space for all concertgoers to socialize and enjoy food and beverage offerings before and during the show. Rave Associates, a beer and wine distributor, will provide more than 20 world-class craft, retro and traditional beers. The “Mac Shack” will feature Pork Nachos this summer.

Cannabis consumption and purchase is not permitted on-the premises; however, the Tree House’s retail space allows guests to purchase Lume-branded merchandise and learn about Lume’s offerings across its 32 off-site recreational dispensaries.

Honcho Outpost located at the top of the stairs in the venue’s Ally East Village, returns for its seventh season at Pine Knob Music Theatre serving up Union Joints style Latin street food. New menu item this year includes a Walking Taco.

“HELLO, PINE KNOB” PODCAST
In partnership with Audacy, 313 Presents returns for the third season of its popular podcast “Hello, Pine Knob,” which launched in 2022. The miniseries will release weekly episodes offering interviews, insights, and guided conversations focusing on the venue’s legendary history, music, and memories. “Hello, Pine Knob” is hosted by award-winning Detroit area music and entertainment journalist Gary Graff. KULTURECITY
All 313 Presents venues are certified sensory inclusive by KultureCity, the nation’s leading nonprofit on sensory accessibility and acceptance for those with invisible disabilities. Guests can access sensory bags free of charge that include noise-canceling headphones, fidgets, verbal cue cards, weighted lap pads, and quiet areas to decompress. Guests can request a bag at each venue’s guest services area.

KultureCity is an organization making spaces more accessible for people with Autism, PTSD, Dementia, and other disabilities that can cause sensory issues. They provide training to venue employees through their Sensory Inclusive certification program—which has certified over 550 locations in the US.

OPENGATE, BAG POLICY, MOBILE ENTRY, CASHLESS POLICY AND VENUE PROTOCOLS
The safety of guests, colleagues and artists is a top priority, and everyone is encouraged to familiarize themselves with safety protocols such as mobile entry, no-bag policy (exceptions include wallets, clutches, fannie packs and clear bags sized 4” x 6” x1.5 or smaller are allowed, along with medical and diaper bags) and cashless transactions. 

New in 2024, OPENGATE Detection System metal detectors will now be placed outside all venues, allowing fans to safely enter without removing any items from their pockets. The screening system will be utilized at all entrances, ensuring much faster entry into the venues. Small bags will continue to be checked, maintaining the same high level of security for fans.
