Boston Consulting Group Opens New Office at 2715 Woodward Ave. in The District Detroit
Boston Consulting Group, the nation’s second largest consulting firm, has opened its new Detroit-area office on Woodward Avenue in The District Detroit. The 30,000-square-foot office is within the eye-catching, five-story newly constructed building at 2715 Woodward, adjacent to the award-winning Little Caesars Arena.
“The move to Detroit and the custom floor plan will enhance the workplace environment for our employees and be very well received by our business partners,” Michelle Andersen, managing director and senior partner of BCG’s Detroit practice, said. “This new space will support our work as we expand our relationships, find new sources of value creation for our clients, and give our team the chance to be a part of Detroit’s incredible energy.”
For more than half a century, Boston Consulting Group, with offices in more than 50 countries, has partnered with top business and public leaders to help them effectively navigate some of the greatest challenges and opportunities of the modern economy. Their metro Detroit team has more than 90 years of experience in the city.

2715 Woodward adds another significant economic generator to Olympia Development’s steady and balanced growth strategy in The District Detroit.
“Tenants like Boston Consulting Group work with us to create a distinctive space which will allow them to empower their employees and grow their businesses,” Stefan Stration, vice president of development at Olympia Development of Michigan, said.
The state-of-the art building replaces a former surface parking lot at Sproat Street and has created hundreds of construction and construction-related jobs for Detroiters and Michiganders.
“Our steady and balanced development approach continues to attract a variety of successful businesses who share our desire to be a part of Detroit’s future,” Stration added.
The advanced design and amenities of 2715 Woodward offer tenants a more pleasant working environment, including floor-to-ceiling glass and an abundance of natural light. In addition, the building has state-of-the-art systems that provide health, well-being and performance benefits, such as enhanced indoor air-quality with more fresh-air circulation than standard systems, and enhanced air/particle filtration and sound attenuation.
The building opened earlier this year when premier Michigan law firm, Warner Norcross + Judd, moved their metro Detroit office to The District Detroit.
2715 Woodward joins other recent Olympia Development projects to reinvigorate the Woodward corridor such as the Little Caesars world headquarters building and Little Caesars Arena, and the Mike Ilitch School of Business at Wayne State University. Other projects expected to be completed this year include the restoration of the former Eddystone Hotel and the restoration of the former Women’s City Club.
